Hydrogen can be …
Hydrogen can be produced by Solar, Wind, or even yes, Nuclear Power. There’s plenty of space to add for storage and producing neccessary Hydrogen on-site, and pump the Hydrogen into the car in about 5 minutes or less as opposed to hours for your electric car. The big oil is more likely with the electric car. Why? Because the electric car makes your own non-gas option obscenely expensive, lacking trunk space, and bulky. I’m arguing for the Hydrogen cars, and the availibility some of that H2.

Some crazy rich guy should just start building hydrogen plants and hydrogen gas stations despite the non-existent presence of hydrogen cars on the road.
The lack of infrastructure is the only thing holding back these hydrogen cars and that first guy on the H2 supply market is going to make a buttload of money.

Now take this milk thinking to energy. Which energy has the longest shelf life?
OIl is a choice that should be enough to get building more choices. Oil does have a shelf life that we know.

First this is an early vehicle, the next logical step will be to partly recycle the watervapor to avoid water purification usable for electrolysis.
secondly once production af theese vehicles take of the production will require less energy than a conventional car since well the are less heatrequirering components, and low maintenece and require for spareparts
Finally airpolution is a huge problem, this car combined with nonpoluting energiproduction will reduce this

Most likely hydrogen production on a mass scale comes from Natural Gas reforming. Primarily methane and steam are reformed to make hydrogen and CO2.

Hydrogen does not come out of ‘thin air.’ Not unless one takes the water vapor from air and splits the H2O molecule, which would be inefficient.

peterbob101, because things out of carbon fiber is like making clothing. It is hand made with carbon cloth. Just like you can’t mass produce clothes (which is why most clothes are made is Chinese sweat-shops where labor is cheap). Also, making the fibers is expensive and done by hand.
