Have you considered …
Have you considered turning the cups upside down and drilling a 1/4″ hole in the center of each cup for exhaust. If you build the cell with the cups upside down, you might be able to take advantage of chambering/stacking. This will keep force the HHO from one cup to the next, until it comes out of the exhaust port of the top cup. I’ve played around with this design and it gives me a more intense and focused stream of HHO.

You can download a diagram for this cell. Google “twisterhho3″ and you will find it. It’s a google sketch up file, download google sketch up and you can see a 3D CAD like drawing. I just build a 4 cup cell, and have 6 more cups to add to mine. It works great!

One thing about the diagram, don’t use spacers like it shows. Use nylon washers for the spacers. You want the cups as close as possible without touching…

Wow.. 45amps @ 12, thats a lot of current and a lot of output. Do you think the cell would do 1 liter per minute @ 12v @ 15 amps? Or 2 liters per minute @ 30 amps? That is what I hope to get from my cell with wallmart cups.

By the way I just bought 50 of the cups from instwares. At first they appear to be very good per metal quality, but after testing them with magnets I found they are very high in iron content. This will contribute to the degredadition of the cups per reverse plating.

My advise is to avoid using those cups and stick to the walmart specials.

My thought on that comment was that a cell of that configuration pulls too much amperage to really run reliably for any real length of time. I’m more interested in an affordable alternative that is reliable encough for normal consumer use.
