Do you get better gas mileage by filling the tank when you fuel up? or it is the same gas mileage when you only get a specific amount (ex. $20)?
You know I have to ask? Do you get better gas mileage with higher octane gas? Some cars recommend it, if you fuel up with a higher octane than recommended are you just wasting money?

you get the same milage with a small amount of gas in the tank,or full tank!! it’s the shape of the tank that make people think they get less millage,thats because the tank is usually smaller at the bottom,the more gas in the tank the better,for keeping the fuel pump pickup tube covered in tuel,and the less chance,of moisture buildup,due to the condensation of metal tank’s,also helps prevent rust from forming if ur car has to sit for a period of time..use the octane recamended for ur car,and if u got money for higher octane fuel,i’d buy that once in a while,it’s a better grade of gas;if ti’s a performance vehichle i’d use premium as much as possable…

I was wondering if anyone has got that "run your car on water" thing? has anyone gotten it and had it sucessfully work? If anyone has tried and had it not work, what went wrong or why is it bad?

Yes, that "run your car on water" thing does really work. But it will not save you any money by using it. It takes more energy to make the hydrogen than you get back. But some clever scammers out there will give you a partial truth just to suck you in…

They tell you how their system takes water and generates HHO gas and uses that hydrogen in your engine as a form of fuel. Sounds good. Free energy from that hydrogen. But…

You have to consider the costs, too. In order to make the HHO, your car battery has to power a "generator", that electrolyzes the stuff. And you have to use an electrolyte, that allows the process to take place. The cost of the electrolyzer and the energy from the battery are more costly than the benefit from the hydrogen gas they make. And you have to actually purchase the system, or at least the parts to build one of your own.

There are people out there who want SO BADLY to believe it works, that they will tell you all about the savings. But they will be just as careful not to tell you of the costs.

I am all for the hydrogen economy. But not for scams like this. I like hydrogen because it can be made from things like wind farms and waterfalls, where you can justify using 1000 Watts just to make 800, because the carbon footprint is small. That being said…

"Water for gas HHO" works, but it is not a money-saving breakthrough.

If you remember nothing else, remember just this:
Per liter, water has 0 W-hr of energy in it. Hydrogen has 3 W-hr @ STP. Conversely, gasoline has 9,700W-hr. Which one do you want for fuel??

If so, have you installed the kit on your car, (new or old) and are you getting better gas mileage without damage to your engine?

I’ve heard of it, have not tried it. The only "side effect" I’ve heard is that it can rust the exhaust system from the inside, but if it saves as much gas as they claim, the savings could easily cover the exhaust repairs.

I’m looking for guide, preferable PDF or DOC that I can use to build my own hydrogen fuel cell. Some of my neighboring engineers have done so by using their knowlege, but I would like some sort of text guide. Are there any on the web? Links would be great, thanks

Thats a tricky question! I’m sure their is somewhere where you can get that information. Start out with youtube that always is a promising place for instructions on advanced topics. Good luck!
